i love thsi show. i always laugh at some point, usually more than once. they have GREAT chemistry. there wer subs thsi week, made me appreciate kornheiser and wilbon all the more. Kornheiser is hilarious. and there good when they get made or serious as well. no where near jumping.

Great show; they don't spend too much time on topics, and then move on. But a couple of things are getting annoying -- Kornheiser's man-crush on Riali(sp.?) is getting creepy, and Wilbon tries too hard to act like the cranky straight man to Tony's quirky smart-ass.

Listen to some local sports shows then listen to these guys and see the difference. They are good, it's fast paced, topical and entertaining. And the Penguin dance cracks me up. As for the poster bitching about no hockey, uh, duh, it's hockey, few people care, fewer watch. That's why everytime you go ten miles out of a hockey team area, Versus is nowhere on the cable system.

I used to be such a fan of this show, but, then, maybe I'm getting old, for this show no longer holds as much of my interest as it used to.

Still, Tony and Michael give each other as good as they get on Pardon The Interruption.

And if you tihnk dan LeBatard is bad as a guest host, you haven't seen Norman Chad on PTI.

Kornholer is a joke. Wearing shades, leather jackets, and hats on the air. Tony, you're 80 years old, and the ugliest man on TV. This wouldn't be so bad but you've also been a so called sports writer for 60 years and yet you are totally clueless as to what's happening in the world of sports.

Here's my take on this show. I read an article once on how Kornheiser, etc. was proud of the fact that a large number of kids tuned into PTI.

Keep that in mind as you watch Korny and Wilbon use their perches to lambaste pro athletes who roid up, or engage in an unacceptable night life.

Then it's break for commercial.

What is PTI sponsored by? GUINNESS!!! and before that, SMIRNOFF ICE TRIPLE BLACK!!!!

Yea. This show hasn't jumped but is slowly on its way. Korheiser and Wilbon seem to just do the show now because of its popularity rather than them wanting to do it now. They are actually pretty popular no win the sports show and with kornheiser doing mnf and wilbon on the nba they seem to care more about that stuff that the show. Still is a great show thouhg, but make no mistake all the people who watched this show back in 01-04 know how amazing and funny it was

Wow, this show is jumped and jumped hard. Wilbon is a complete jerk who thinks he can sit in judgment of everyone and Tony just seems like he doesn't want to be there. At least LeBatard seems like he's glad he's there and we shouldn't all be kissing his butt. TK and Wilbon have gotten too high up on their horses and act like it's a privilege for us to see them.

IMO, Kornheiser seems to be awfully thin skinned considering the occupation he has. He dishes out criticism all of the time and IMO, he seems to be getting more and more cranky when anyone criticizes him.
Yes, I find Lebatard annoying, but he does seem to go with it when he is on PTI. It seems like he enjoys not being liked.
I do not like Bob Ryan at all. I don't like seeing him on PTI.

Note to ESPN - I switch the channel to Charmed reruns anytime Dan LeBatard appears on the show. Think of it this way - if the show featured Lebretard when it first aired it would have lasted as long as ESPN Hollywood (or whatever they called that Mario Lopez abortion they aired a few years ago). The show works best when Kornheiser and Wilbon are hosting. Bob Ryan and Jason Whitlock were acceptable substitutes, but because Jason dared to challenge Mike Lupica, and because Ryan is hosting some lame local version of PTI in the Boston area, the powers that be stick us with a third rate columnist from Miami as the guest host. I'd rather see ESPN run WS of Poker or Stump the Schwab than give Lebatard a platform to air his idiotic points of view.

this show is complete crap. like all espn hosts, they are afraid to say anything that might cost them an invite. half the show isnt even about sports. who has the hottest girlfriend. what will you watch on tv tonite. what a joke. and just when you think they could not find a lamer guest host, someone new comes along to prove you wrong. tony, old farts trying to portray thst they are cool is always pathetic. mike, marshmallows who try to come across as being athletes or tough guys is equally lame. 2 folks certainly in the running for the "who has risen the highest with absoutely no talent of any kind" award. i wont even get into the stat boy category

PTI is kind of jumping. Wilbon and Kornheiser have used the show a springboard to bigger, better things... and really don't put as much energy into the shows.

Their arguments don't seem very researched any more, it's just kneejerk reaction or something some random people on the staff churned out. If I just wanted to hear the ESPN-approved A/B points of view on sports topics, I'd watch... pretty much any of the zillions of PTI clones ESPN now has. The show used to be good because Tony and Mike gave genuinely interesting points of view.

There's a lot less humor now, you can tell Tony and Mike just kind of show up for the show and aren't putting that much energy into it anymore.

Still, better than pretty much anything else ESPN produces... but that's not saying much.

I agree. Adande is D-list. They can do better than that. But espn is very afraid of personalities and adande doesn't have one so it's safe having him. And the real hosts don't even bother to check in anymore. I smell a jump!

Having JA Adande on as a guest host signifies a jump. He sucks. He's so vanilla. Have someone on with something interesting to say; not someone who tows the espn party line. Boring!
