Never Jumped
Day One
Not That There's Anything Wrong With It...
The Native American episode
Shark Bytes
I Love this show. There's no way it's like Doug. That's like comparing Recess to The Weekenders- the similarities are only visual if that. Even though Doug is appealing offbeat, it's very lightweight and hackneyed in subject matter. Pepper Ann was always original with the plots themselves and had deeper meaning to them. One of the most memorable episodes is about Pepper Ann's friendship with bully Effie Shrugs- the content explored in it is too profound for most thirty-somethings to grasp much less preteens. So everyone here's right that the show was too mautre for it's target audience, yet too childish for the people who could fully appreciate it. These characters could've easily been made into twenty-somethings with jobs and placed on primetime TV. As for the supposed homosexuality on this show, I, too, originally got the feeling that the writers were implying that Pepper Ann and especially Milo could both be latently gay. Then I saw the episode when they went into the future and Milo is a happily married doting dad and P.A. is still interested in Craig Bean.
i'm 22 y.o. and i still watch it when i catch it on! hillarious and great! one of the best disney shows ever. however doug was pretty cool too..
How could ya'll! The show was excellent and way better than Doug ( even though I watched Doug too sometimes.) I'm just a kid, give me a break! I loved One Saturday Morning and I watched everything on it. I was little then! If they would have put a show out called " Lets watch the paint dry", I probably would have watched and enjoyed it. Pepper Ann was the only reason I wanted to put up with seventh grade! Doug was usually my nap time. Pepper Ann reminds me of my childhood.
NEVER jumped. It was taken off the air WAY too soon!!!! One of the best written cartoons on TV! SHOULD BE ON DVD!!!
I used to look alot like her and I was in the 7th grade too.. I loved that show and it was my nickname..
but then the show left.. and so did my trademark nickname.. and glasses and geekyness.. heh.. but I miss it still

Pepper Ann's mom and Aunt were NOT lesbians. Her aunt was married and had two kids and her mom was a divorcee who acted interested in men! That being said Pepper Ann is up there with 'Animaniacs' and 'Pinky & the Brain' as one of the greatest cartoons ever; funny, smart, non-violent, and clean. Love it!
Pepper Ann was the coolest cartoon on TV. However, this show was aimed more for pre-teens, teens, and older audiences. That was the problem with this show, it was on at a bad time. However I did like the characters from Pepper Ann to Milo to Lydia, (she was hilarious) I enjoyed this show when it was on Saturday morning, and my mom did also.
It never jumped! Pepper Ann is a cool show. She just jumps out there and does what she wants without thinking. And I love how her reflection will talk to her- it's something we all do (usually in our heads) telling us if we're right or wrong. I think it's really funny.
Never. I personally found this show to be one of the best shows out there. I think it was way better than dog and I loved it's characters. I found the persons comment about Milo being fruity to be homophobic and narrow minded. As were your comments about Pepper Anns mother. The show was pro feminist but not anti male. The message at the end of the show was that we do not have to do what they do to be a feminist or to show we believe in equality. I don't recall hearing any anti-male remarks. If there were I think they were not supposed to be taken seriously.
Never Jumped. Though it wasn't the best show, it had a few redeeming qualities. The German dude is "Dieter"... I'm sure it's been spelled on the show.
This show never jumped! It ruled!! Every character was great, especially Nikki. Ah, we loved that schizo. I personally adored the Hazelnut Radio Freak episode, because.....well, I thought Wayne Macabre (the DJ) was funny! Who cares if he was sexist? He was hilarious. I loved his voice. Milo was pretty cute too. Anyone who says this was a wannabe Doug should be dead.
Pepper Ann will NEVER EVER jump! This is my all time favorite cartoon! In the 5th grade I didn't understand the hidden humor..the show should have been aimed at a more mature audience. I love Peppy's wit and her comic way of handling the situations she faces in day to day life. I still catch re-runs on Toon Disney Channel. Rock on P.A!
