luv it!!!
Okay, I moved overseas when I was only 11 to Europe while this show was on the air, so I only saw the first 4 or 5 episodes, but I loved it. It was histarically funny. Pierce was the best! I just didn't like Patton. Most people are right that his "You Likey" phrase was overused.

Overall, it was good. Shouldn't have been cancelled. It kicked ass.

OK first off. You guys are making the show sound a lot worse than it was. Personally as a teen, I always looked forward to watching it. Who cares about the "Stereotype teens" in the show? That just makes it easier foe every teen watching to empathize with one of the characters. Don't be so mean about the show, it is greatly missed.

How can one show be SO cliched? The pilot plays out like a million family comedies before it. Parents go out for a night, kids throw a party. The kids, referred to as "the quints", represent every type of teenager cliche in the book. The stud, the weirdo, the hottie, the dork, and the social outcast. Each kid dumb as a post, that blond girl is one of the worst actors I've ever seen. The dorky kid who is overly horny is one of the most irritating actors I've ever seen. The writing is horrible. The laugh track is overlaughing at everything. This show is painful to watch. How could Andy Richter go from such a brilliant show like Andy Richter Controls the Universe to this crap?
Pathetic--right up there with My Mother The Car and Cop Rock. Every TV family cliche in the book.
Quintuplets could have been a LOT better. It had Andy Richter (got me through many a late night in college on Conan), plus three fairly hot chicks, f'cryin'out loud. I understand they needed episodes to develop its characters, but once they introduced "You likey?" a few episodes in as a catch phrase for the sex-starved kid, I knew this show was in the tank. Andy? Other cast members? You're talented, but catch on to some other projects, *please!!!*
Anyone watching Quintuplets starring Andy Richter? Kinda bad like most of today's sitcoms, but it has some funny moments where you think, "Hey, this show has potential." For example, the episode "Little Man on Campus", where Patton gets hard ons during cheerleading routines. Can't stand his catchphrase "You Likey?" though and I hope they kill that fast. Then there's the episode "Shakespeare in Lust where Penny kisses (deeply) another girl. Didn't expect to see that on prime time! the kid characters are pretty much stereotypes: the jock the bimbo, the brooding outsider etc.
QUINTUPLETS is about a couple who have quintuplets (duh) who are vastly different individuals, and the stuff they get into. Its main gimmicks are 1) all kids going through the SAME stage of life at once and the parents cannot handle it and 2) all kids have different takes on the SAME situation. Yes, folks, it's a sitcom. It's also quite good. Personally I am in love with the dark, cynical, Gothic daughter, Penny. I'm sorry to see the producers have apparently decided the Weird Brother, Pearce, must be gay. What, you can't be weird and straight? I am! Anyway it's brand new, so don't any of you idiots out there say it's already jumped. If the writing stays this good, it never will.
I really wanted to like "Quintuplets". I've been a big fan of Andy Richter since his Conan O'Brien days and I think his previous FOX sitcom, "Andy Richter Controls the Universe", is such an unappreciated gem. However, this new show of his is just TERRIBLE!!! How many more 'dumb husband with smart wife' sitcoms do we need to endure? (I blame "Everybody Loves Raymond" for the popularity of those shows.) The kids are just plain annoying and unlikable. The worst kid is Patton, the runt of the litter who seriously needs to be castrated. The audience goes wild when he says "You likey?" (the lamest catchphrase since Joey Tribbianni's "How YOU doin'?") but I just cringe and change the channel. I can't believe the garbage that passes for entertainment these days. It saddens me to see a great show like "Andy Richter Controls the Universe" get ignored and treated like crap while mindless TV viewers flock to "Quintuplets" in droves.
Funniest sit-com to come out since "Scrubs"! Glad FOX decided to order a full season's worth of episodes. As long as the scripts stay fresh Andy Richter will have the long-running hit he should have had with "Andy Richter Controls the Universe".
This is a funny show, especially the episode when all the quints get sick and Andy Richter keeps them is solitary confinement.
