All I can say about Rachael Ray is she's really spunky, and I'd like to spunk it up a notch all over her. She's got a super bod, and I have no problem with B-cups since I myself have a pair. I'm sure she knows just what to do on a shoestring budget, and I'd like to bounce her on my thing anytime.
IMO, it looked like their were very small tips given out during her $40.00 a day show. It is understandable if you are basing a show around $40.00 a day. That type of show would result in small tips. She should have known better than to do a show like that. The criticisms are bound to fly, especially when you consider how well off she is regardless of the shows concept.
I haven't watched Tasty Travels yet. I can't bring myself to watch it. I find her mannerisms far too annoying along with the words she uses. She is nearing the age of 40, she is not 12. I wish she would talk using more adult words instead of language that IMO, would be more suitable for a small child.
I don't care how many shows she is on, commercials she is on, or how many products she has in the marketplace or how many catalogs or magazines she is in or how much money she makes as long as she talks using adult every day words. I cannot stand words like yummo, delish and sammies or other word combinations. If she would eliminate those annoying words from her vocabulary, I would find her much more watchable.
I don't blame her for doing all that she does. Some people are bothered by it. I am not. She is filling a void in the marketplace. It is a smart thing for her to do. She wouldn't be popular if she wasn't filling a void.
I do think she takes the intimidation factor out of cooking in the kitchen. I have never been intimidated by it, but I know some who are. I just wish that she would inform the viewers about calories, portion control and fat content. I think she would be one of the few people that would be able to do that without being preachy.
As for her cookbooks? I have never bought them, but I have seen a bunch of them in the store. It wouldn't shock me if she started coming out with low fat cookbooks.
For some reason, I could see her riding in the back of the Scooby Doo van from the cartoon. She does seem very retro with words such as groovy. I just wish she would change her language a bit and please dump the words veggies. That has been over used.

the show's been okay so far, but it seems like RR is too busy selling practically anything and everything, all i see on FN is reruns now a days... Her looks changed dramatically since her team up with opera. She now looks like a sleezy jersey girl with orange tan, and sounds like a chain smoker.
