I was a big fan of Lauren Ambrose from her "Six Feet Under" days. But the wife and I watched the first episode and thought "This isn't any good." It's really difficult in this day and age to come up with a really good show that catches on. Too bad from the SFU alumni. The only one with any staying power, so far, has been Brenda's (aka Rachel Griffiths) 'Brother and Sister'. David (Michael C. Hall) may have a good show with 'Dexter'. I'll have to check it out.
Poor little Claire. Oh well.

It's officially cancelled. It was a crummy show, and apparently FOX knew that by putting it on Friday. And it's not like Parker Posey was any help; aside from her shrill, annoying performance, she more or less said in an interview that she didn't care if it was cancelled.
The 2nd episode was better. I would lose the baby concept and have another premise. I will wait and see.
Too early to tell. The 2nd epi was exponentially better than the 1st. I love seeing Scott Cohen again (I'm a HUGE Gilmore Girls fan). Lose the laugh track, make Parker less whiney, and I think it's got potential. Altho, a baby always kills a show, and that's what the storyline is gearing for.
It definetely doesn't compare to Gilmore Girls. Not even close. A laugh track...wow. I didn't even find it that funny. It was interesting enough, but funny? No. To be truthful, I only watched it because it was Amy Sherman-Palladino's show. But, sadly, it did not live up to expectations.
I do think that it's still to early to dub it "horrible" forever. I'll continue watching it for awhile. Who knows, it could get better. A series can't be defined by the Pilot episode.
