I just discovered this show in June of '08 and am waching it at ABC.Com ..

I enjoy it, it's funny, nuanced, and subtlely mad-capped.

I don't know if Christina can suffer amnesia for the next four seasons, but I hope the show enjoys a lengthy run ..

I'll be watching -- BTW, Melissa McCarthy is a hoot!

And why doesn't JTS have a listing for T.H.E. Cat from the mid-sixities -- great show
Samantha Who isn't brilliant. But its really fun, clever writing and good performance. Esp. Jennifer Esposito. Christina's acting has certainly improved- her comic timing seems to have been sharpened by her time on Bway's Sweet Charity (Saw it, she fit the role as Charity perfectly, another cute, hapless role that doens't necessarily require Patty LuPone chops). I'm really amused by Samantha Who and hope it gets picked up for another season. Its fun and the speed is rather quick. I am unsure of how sustainable amnesia is, but it works for now. I'm totally hooked.
Ms. Applegate is fine comic actress and is served well by this show. However, it has become a bit to much of chick show for me.
When this show first aired I was in the hospital after having surgery so I got to watch it. I liked it. Then when I came home I could not use the DVR for it because we had a ton of other things on Monday night so I would watch it online. But then the writers strike happened and I forgot about it. I guess it was one of those shows that was not the memorable huh? And I was trying to find out if Todd was the oldest son from 7th Heaven, if he is not he sure looks like him. But I do not watch it anymore and I wonder if it even will come back now.
:::: The last posting on this show was Dec. 29th. last year? Who's kidding who? Nobody involved with this site is paying any attention to it anymore. Since TV guide took over, it's a shambles.
I can't wait until she finds the most important clue to her past: when someone says the words "Coronet Blue!)
I think this show has been one of the first 'Sit-Com's' we have seen in a long time. I'm getting tired of the whole 'reality' movement. I do agree that the amnesia thing will not sustain the show. However, they do have an interesting fall back issue they have yet to bring out but clearly plan too; that is the whole Good v. Evil part of the show represented in Samantha's two friends, even the title of the show indicates this struggle with the halo and horns on her name. This is were the show really touches on the human condition. Viewers may never have had amnesia, but everyone struggles with the difference between right and wrong, and that is where this show is very funny, and could be funnier. good luck writers.
It's a nice, light comedy. I like it. There's no pretence to it. It doesn't try to be PC, politically correct. It understands the real limitations of half-hour comedies & works with it adroitly.
I think this show is hilarious and is never slow moving. There is always someting intresting happening.
I loved Kelly Bundy. But I don't care about Samantha with amnesia or without. She is not an interesting character. And ditch the annoying narration.
I like this show. I think it is funny. Yes, it is not very in depth but it is quite funny at times and even though some of the info on amnesia and stuff is wrong it is still an ok show. I really enjoyed the episode with the hunting, i thought that was very funny.
I absolutle down and out LOVE Samatha Who? I hope it runs 10 years!!!!
Oh dear, why can't poor Christina Applegate get a good show to do? There was that awful piece of crap last year (what was the title?)and now the 2007 version.
Bet it will be gone by spring!!!

Yuck!!

I think it's a great show for women in their 40's and up...
Repetitive amnesia jokes do not a TV sitcom make.
