Actually, I have a feeling that SS could be funny if she didn't try so hard to be profane. Some folks do profane well; she doesn't.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I suspect that something's there, if she were willing to work a little. Although you'd never know it based on this show.

Poor Comedy Central. They were so hoping this would be their new meal ticket to carry their pitiful lineup (minus DS and CR), a new talent to replace the brilliant talent of the pre-insane Dave Chappelle. No dice. Audiences responded promptly to the "Look at me I'm cute - Look at me I'm outrageous" one-trick pony, and the show tanked. Sometimes the public gets it right.
I hate Sarah Silverman. That being said... this show has its charms. I never gave it a chance at first. And at times it can be an ordeal... but it is such a ....smart show. Feel free to disagree with me because "smart" might be the wrong word.... but it takes chances, and the payoff usually outweighs the crickets when the show flops on a joke (rarely, actually).
hatters ss is the funnest show one now and if u don't like it if she is to mean or nasty or your little ears can't take it then watch a.i . one more thing black god falling down all them damn stars after getting used by sarh again was funny as hell
Sarah Silverman is hateful,crude,mean-spirited and completely unfunny.Check out her interview in Rolling Stone in which she orders eggs at a restaurant and then, while eating them, goes into a bit about how if she were a chicken she'd eat eggs and say "Ummm, these came from my P****!" If you were on a blind date with a woman who said that, wouldn't you excuse yourself to go to the bathroom and not come back?In publicity for "School of Rock",in which she played an entirely unsympathetic cow,she whined about how her persona in the movie was nothing like her,and that she was actually was very funny. Both statements are bald-faced lies. The worst thing I've seen by her is her"You're Gonna Die" *****,in which she taunts residents of an old folks' home about how old they are,and how they're going to be dead soon.At the end she shows up drunk at an old lady's open-casket funeral, and yells at the corpse.FUNNY,FUNNY LADY!!!
The retarded nature of this program cannot be even charted. This pretentious, ponderous show prompts the question "On what day did God create Sarah Silverman, and couldn't he have rested on that day too?
I find the show hilarious. The humour is totally random and off-the-wall.
I'd never heard of her when I first saw the show. I've since seen her stand-up and it's abysmally unfunny. I wouldn't have given her a chance if I'd seen it first.

Sarah Silverman says outrageous, hateful things because it's the only way she can stand out from the crowd.
This trend started with Andrew Dice Clay who tried to do a "clean" routine and bombed. She's probably mediocre without the shock value. Aiming for the lowest common denominator has made her career. When she passed gas and crapped in her pants, she became an icon for the dumbing down of America.

Looks like this page is full of people who think Dane Cook is funny. This show is the second coming of Get A Life, I wish I had cable so I could see season 2.
I don't care for Dane Cook but I think Sarah is hilarious. And I'm not alone. So yeah.

The two "gay neighbors" on the show are the funniest aspect of it. The cop is good too. Sarah Silverman herself is the weakest part of the show.
From Raving Maniac: This show cracks me up. I think it's the funniest show to hit Comedy Central since South Park. Sarah's deadpan humor is side-splittingly hysterical! I also think she's hot but then I have a "thing" for nice Jewish girls!
