This fool had on a leather jacket that made him look like a one day bus trip patron to Atlantic City. He spouts off "contoversial" ramblings and posts "exclusive" 6 month old pictures all in a 4PM Saturday afternoon time slot. It was like watching public acess programming. I washoping it would last two months to see how extended his on-air wardrobe was. I'mguessing a three show cycle. HAHAHAHA

I remember telling my wife that a retarded monkey could do a better job than Savage...sure enough, last Fall NASA and NBC teamed up in a joint research project and found that six out of eight mentally-retarded monkeys provided "more honest-to-goodness entertainment value" than Savage.

This is NOT a joke! This was a serious experient to replace Savage with a cognitively-challenged primate.

Test audience members were asked to watched 60 minutes of Savage and 60 minutes of retarded monkeys throwing sandwiches at each other. The test-group rated the sandwich-throwing monkeys significantly more entertaining.

I like all the so called conservatives who bash Savage on here and yet support George W bush who is the biggest failure this country has ever seen and has virtually destroyed the republican party over night with his illegal friends. You are blind morons who probably speak as well as Bush himself. You get what you deserve and don’t be surprised as Texas turns into a purple state you moronic fools. I’m not even going to mention you “democrats” your not even a viable party anymore.

Savage is a die hard liberal who presents the caricature of a fascist caveman 5 days a week in an effort to debase all conservatives. Anybody who takes him his show or any of his books seriously needs to ingest some fish oil's and go back to counting their marlboro miles.

Never saw his telivision show, but I know television is in desperate need of more people like him.

I've seen and heard this guy and find him to be unpleasant, vulgar, crude, ignorant, in short a demagogue in every sense of the word.

At least Rush Limbaugh has a pleasant personaltiy.

Did you know that this guy is owned by some wierd mysogenistic, pseudo-gnostic medditation Guru in Grants Pass, OR named Roy Masters? I used to be a fan of this guy until he started in with the Commie conspiracies, and I was shocked when I learnt latter on that he owned Savage, Humphry's, Tammy Bruce and eveb MANCOW through TRN sindication network (and World Net Daily ontop of this).

Compared to him, Rush Limbaugh actually is 'a harmless little fuzzball'- and that's saying something!

Oh, give me a break...Weiner-Savage's producer had nothing to do w/the whole "get AIDS and die" incident, he caused his own undoing w/that vitriolic, hate-filled diatribe and rightfully paid the price, just as Ann Coulter did when the same network (MSNBC) canned her for a snide remark she made on-air to a disabled Vietnam vet...much like the main character in Chekov's "A Slander", it was proof that a person may foolishly cause his own undoing. And I don't buy his halfhearted apology for a second...Weiner-Savage claimed that "he thought he was off the air" at the time of his major faux pas, as if that would justify the hate-spewing homophobe's tirade. Oh, and if you did a search on Yahoo, Google, etc., you'd see that plenty of news sources DID identify "East Coast Bob" as a crank caller, because it's an integral part of the story (a TV host gets taken down by -of all people - a crank caller?)...speaking of which, were you equally outraged when the Stern show's Captain Janks called Dan Rather "an idiot" on live TV during his coverage of the Columbia shuttle tragedy? Didn't think so...and spare me your "liberal bias" sob story; if conservatives were really just put on TV to look bad, how do you explain Hannity & Colmes, Mark Hyman of GOP-friendly Sinclair Broadcasting, Tucker Carlson, Joe Scarborough, Rush Limbaugh, Bob Schieffer, Brit Hume, and others?

Savage was setup by a producer at MSNBC. He was told they were in commercials when the event happened.

Savage was set up by the MSNBC staff. Every time a conservative is offered a show on a liberal format it is for the purpose of making them look bad.

This show jumped Day One because Mike Savage has a face for radio. Despite the fact that I disagree with most of what he says, his radio show is pretty good. But the moment his radio audience was forced to look at his exhausted mug staring right at them on MSNBC that show sailed over the shark big time. How come the camera angle was so confrontational? Because he is so aggressive? Every time you see a picture of him he's wearing sunglasses because his eyes are so baggy and scary. He should have just worn shades all the time.

Telling people to get AIDS is probably a bad thing for any show. I doubt his screaming and talking about what he had for lunch would have translated well to television.

I may be too late as I've heard that the program has already been cancelled because of some mean-spirited remark Savage (nee Michael Weiner) made within earshot of a live mike. If that's the case, good riddance. Savage has the dubious distinction of being even more misinformed and ignorant than Rush Limbaugh while at the same time exceeding the late, unlamented Morton Downey Junior in viciousness. Poetic justice for this boob would be his getting run over by a Volvo station wagon.
