"Sometime in the 1980s I saw this truly bizarre sitcom starring Dee Wallace and a slightly fat Elliot Gould as the parents of 2-3 kids (very original). The episode that sticks in my mind is one in which the blonde teenage daughter finds an old 'Time' magazine with 'Is God Dead?' on the cover, and gets all upset about it. The finale involves Dee bursting into aforesaid daughter's room and delivering an emotional speech, in which she concludes (at the top of her lungs) that "... God IS in His Kingdom, and all is right with the world!!". She and daughter tearfully embrace, then I think the rest of the family join in the hug. Roll credits. The memory of it astonishes me even to this day, especially since I don't recall the show being even slightly religious in content before that. My question: what was this show called? I don't think it lasted very long (big surprise there)."
