Judging by the great ratings at the beginning of its run, and the quick plummet that soon followed, other viewers agreed with me. It was a mediocre show that never lived up to Wanda Sykes talent. Unfortunately it seems Hollywood sees her as the classic second banana, probably due to this failure.
I for one loved "Wanda At Large".
It is ten times funnier than that crap that is still on for some reason. I'm talking about "According to Jim". Don't get me wrong, I like some of Jim's work. However this show stinks. It's not funny at all.
BRING BACK:
1. Wanda At Large
2. King Of Queens
3. MASH(there's got to be some new actors who can fill in)

Actually, it jumped prior to its spawning, immediately after whomever derived this show’s premise and set into motion the unholiest chain of events that led to its first airing. What genius, a show based on how much the main character does not know, who would have thought that actual ignorance and stupidity could be mined so deeply for memorable moments in comedic history. Ha, look at Wanda try to be a pool cleaner while she waxes hilarious about the phallic nature of the pool skimmer handle, and then she uses that same skimmer to pretend play guitar, with the springboard as her stage!!! All done at an uptight, rich person’s mansion, who will walk in on her wacky antics. Brilliant!!!! I want a job writing for her. Er….I mean I would have loved a job doing that. Was Wanda the first choice, or is she the owner of the prime and instigating notion?
This is such a great show! Wanda Sykes is hilarious, and her show is one of the best out there now. What with all of this reality crap still on television, it's nice to see something that can actually make you laugh. Thanks FOX, you're my favorite network!
