The promoters of Christianity added a virgin birth to the original Greek description of the "young woman" giving birth so that they promote it as a "Special Event."
Talk about chutzpah!!!!

Dear god, this show is just horrible!
Usually these comedies have at least one redeeming character who says at least one funny thing... but not in this show. Nothing about it is even remotely amusing!
How did it last so long?

Sorry to all the idealistic people who thought this show never jumped. It jumped on Day ONE. All of those stupid Peter Engel Saturday morning teen shows jump on the first day. And AS IF two people are going to adopt seven kids ALL from different racial backgrounds! I agree with the first poster. This was a ridiculous concept and impossible to swallow.
The reason why this couple adopted all those kids was because they couldn't have any kids of their own. So two seasons(or so) later, the mother discovers that she is pregnant. Did they have to bring that in the storyline? But the show went off the air before the baby was born, so the viewers didn't have to see a crying baby in the next season. But knowing the "wizards" of TV, they baby would have become a bratty 5-year-old, making everyone laugh at the "cute" antics.
The whole show was A Very Special....but who cares, it wasn't the best show by a long shot, but the punk chick with short hair was really cute, that's the only reason I watched it, and the fact that it was in Miami is pretty cool.
One World is a great show, it has never jumped the shark. I think it was a great idea to do a family that is multi-cultural. The family truly does not have to be blood related in order to work. I think this country would be a whole lot better in terms of race relations if one could look at a person of another race and say that is my sister or my brother and really mean it from the heart because they grew up with that person as a relative. That would be something challenging to do in real life considering the fact that you would have to educate each child on their culture.
