You can see a few videos from the older Zoom shows on youtube, including one featuring that arm "trick" that girl did. I used to think that arm trick was something prostitutes do on the streets in Asia to attract customers. It just seemed strange PBS would be teaching this "trick" to kids.

I loved Zoom when I was growing it was one my all time favorite show and I'd love to see a reunion show someday. I just wonder whatever happen to the 1st cast Nina,Nancy,Tracy,Joe,John,Kennyand Tommy? if anyone knows let me know please

Are there any sites where we can see pics of the older cast members from the 70s. I can only remember that Chinese chick with the cross arms thing, that I can still do today. And David and ugly old Edith who I always would say "Damn that Edith is ugly, how's she ever gonna make it through life?"

If this show was supposed to be educational (at least by 1970s standards), what was the point of that "Ubbi Dubbi" crap?

I like the first 3 seasons of Zoom (not including the 70s version)

Caroline staying on the show for like...4 or 5 seasons was annoying. I guess the producers liked her a lot.

I sometimes watched this show in the mid 70s. The show had some good points, but I assume kids watched it when there wasn't anything else on, or they weren't interested in the Gilligan's Island rerun on the other channel.

Nobody I knew would admit to other kids that they watched Zoom. I found that ubbi dubbi flubbi language, or whatever you call that, to be very annoying. That just made the cast seemed cliquish. I also remember when the cast started begging every show- "Zoom might go off the air... the people in Washington will decide..", which was followed by them begging you to send a photo or drawing of yourself in to some address to show that you want the show to stay on the air. I didn't send any photo in- I didn't care if it went off the air.

I used to watch the 90's version of ZOOM. Itjumped the shark when they kept re-hiring that brat Caroline. Whatever happened to to 2 season limit on kids? Caroline stayed for 5 years!

I was like 13 when Zoom came back in '99. I watched it religiously every single day after school for years. But they changed the cast members every season, and as years went by, they started hiring younger and younger kids, I think one girl was like 9 or 10. It just wasn't appealing to me after the first 2 or 3 seasons.

I'm almost a teen but I miss Zoom alot! They never show it on PBS where Ilive now! When I lived in Arizona as a young kid I remember watching it every day after school!

i watched the show in the 70s and thought it was totally cool! Liked Donna, Ann and Tracy (from season 1). ZOOM JTS when PBS retooled it in '99. The magic was gone, it was just another bland kiddie show. Letting the cast go barefoot in the original ZOOM was a great idea; after all, that is part of being a kid. Wish I could see some of the old, original episodes again. Perhaps a DVD release?
