I love crossing Jordan. The storylines are great, why would they cancel it. I love they characters espicially, Jordan and Woody. Wow they are so sweet together!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!! I have been watching Crossing Jordan for a little while now but I absolutely love this show. I heard that NBC might have a new season of the show coming out in the fall. I really hope they do. Anyway, I just bought season 1 of CJ on DVD and I'm sooooo mad about how they ended the season. Does anyone know when season 2 comes out on DVD and is there any website that has the episode "There's No Place Like Home" on it?

I think the show jumped the shark when they introduced Jordan's long lost brother, James. First things first. In one episode, Max says he and Jordan's mother, Emily, where married 15 years. Emily died when Jordan was 10 years old (on September 18, 1979, a week after Jordan's tenth birtday. . .which makes her a Virgo. That could explain a few things. . .). Anyway, James is 6 years older then Jordan. Huh? Timeline, much?
Now, if James had been Jordan's first cousin, then it would have been more plausable. Also. . .how could someone who is so clearly mentally deranged not have his fingerprints on file? That's pushing it.
A second jump the shark moment was introducing female characters who are so obviously supposed to be Jordan if she had taken a different path (Elaine DeShaun: media whore. Kate Switxer: uptight bitch, who so the morgue as little more then a place to work, rather then as a place to, you know, make friends and find possible romance). BTW: Kate with Nigel!? That's WWIII just waiting to happen. Lily having a child by Geoffrey (when did they do it, exactly?), who looks suspiciously like Bug (qv, "Crash into Me").

I thought that the Crossing Jordan series was very well written and most certainly one of the best dramatic character driven series during its 6 year run.
As far as "bringing back" Crossing Jordan: Not gonna happen. Not on NBC or any other television network (Other than re-runs.).
But, no worries: Just because the series is not coming back to television, doesn’t mean that it is really over!! A great team of fan-fiction writers picked up where the series ended on TV. These talented women are going to give the series the finale it deserved. Their “virtual” season is going to be 31 episodes long.
The first episode, "Hold That Thought" premiered Sunday, September 30, 2007. This virtual season 7 (VS7) is hosted in the crossingjordanencyclopedia.com web site. You can catch each episode every Sunday at 10:00 EST until April 27, 2008. Each episode will remain available for viewing anytime in the crossingjordanencyclopedia.com site after each of the Sunday's episode's air date. The premiere picked up after the rescue from the mountainside. It was fabulously written, presented with graphics and music. It was as if you are watching it on TV.
VS7 is getting a lot of attention already, just days after the premiere. You can find it already added to the Wikipedia.com (Crossing Jordan) website. Articles and Press Releases are being found in Canadian news as well as various media here in the States and at online at website’s as well.

It was the best show i'v watched in a while.I'm really sad im only in grade 8 but this show was something i could relate to.I loved the charactors they all worked so well together,i had to remind myself it was a show... This was a great show! I have even DVRed all the episodes this year on A&E. Hey they should do us all a favor and pick it up...what a bump in their ratings. I'd be there! Do you think this has anything to do with Jill being pregnant?

myself and my friends have actually thrown our tvs because it is obvious no network is showing any good shows since you canceled crossing jordan
I never thought of Crossing Jordan as "is that still on"material like "ER"(there!)or plain,old "Trapper John".I never had a family and the ensemble on this show was mine.They REALLY clicked.The show was quirky,gimmicky but also emotional and well acted.Lesser characters came and went like sailers at a hookers place but its heart was ALWAYS in the right place.I did actually "jump"a few times but when you really love something,you forgive that.Oh how I forgave,like a mother her psychotic tot.I'll miss it and hope it will be on DVD soon!
Sorry, folks! It must all be my fault. Every time I fall in love with a show and/or the characters in a series, they take it off the schedule. Everwood, As Time Goes By - - and now - Crossing Jordan. You will notice that there is not a single reality show on my short list - or anything with unwatchable gore - no ink, chasing, body piercing or major demolition. I guess it's DIY, HGTV, and the History channel for my limited viewing. Then there are always more books to be read and friends to visit. I've seen the schedule for next year and it doesn't really look all that appealing.
I hope you decide to bring back Crossing Jordan. I just started watching the sixth season this year. I LOVE this series PLEASE DONT CANCEL it PLEASE!! I also hope you come out with season DVDs soon. You cant cancel the show thing were just getting good with Jordan and Woody and Kate and the other guy. Please dont leave us hanging in the dark.

Finally, it's over. I liked everyone except Jill H. She couldn't act.
I stopped watching a few years ago when there was a contract dispute with Jill.
The story-lines became unbelieveable.
