This season has been absolutely dreadful. New writers? I loved this show.

The show has become a parody of itself.Ari and Drama have morphed into total buffoons.After the past weeks mushroom episode and the Ari/Adam fight the week before I find it hard to bother with another episode.

I said I would cancel HBO after the Ari/Adam Davies "fight" episode, but gave it one last shot. This most recent episode (with Drama going to jail) sealed the deal for me. Entourage not only is no longer good, it's actually BAD. They must have completely new writers, because season 2 and 3 were SO good. This newest season (and the last one too, really) are SO bad. I can picture the writers thinking of some "cool" moment or scene, and then they write backwards from there. I do not care about a single character on that show any more, even Ari. And why is that god-awful publicist still on? I fast-forward through any scene with her in it. They're all too cool for their own good, and are trying WAY too hard. It's like a McDonalds commercial, but without the great food. Note to writers: every character doesn't need to have a role in every single episode. (And what's with all the pot smoking? We get it, you're cool, you smoke pot in the middle of the day. Ooh, so rebellious.) It is obviously written by people who think they're cool, and write about what they think cool people actually do. The writers for the first couple of seasons were obviously actually cool.

I think it jumped the shark with the Medellin-behind-the-scenes show. That was a superb start on season 4 which later more or less sucked. And the beginning of season 5 hasn't showed much improvement. Still kinda funny though

As soon I saw the street racing scene between Ari Gold and Adam Davies, I knew it jumped the shark. When Ari sent him a bag of feces, it got even worse.

This last season has been awful. Every time a character said something witty, I cringed because it was passe.

Even a show where everything is somewhat absurd has to be based in some reality. The drag racing scene in rush hour traffic was so ridiculous and over the top, that the satire is becoming a satire of itself. The Ari character is becoming so repetititve, that one season just blends into the next.

The show used to be great but has sucked for the last two seasons. It's the same thing every week: something looks like a problem, everyone except Vince worries and screams, Vince says, "Don't worry about it, E", and then everything works out great. Ho-hum.
Also, Eric is a completely unlikable character.

Season 4 finale entitled "The Cannes Kids." Entourage jumped the shark in this episode when the camera shows Drama consummating his and Jacqueline's relationship while the paparazzi look on. It all looked very dumb and embarrassing. The show was very entertaining the first few years by showing an insiders peak of Hollywood and the excesses and misfires of the young Hollywood elite. But its premise doesn't lend itself to a maturing series. Season 5 opener was weak too. Everything seems fake and tired. The scene on the beach in Mexico seemed phony. And Jeremy Piven is looking old and tired of the role.

First of all this show needs to be an hour long.The half hour run time makes for too short of scenes and too much quick cutting and jumping around from scene to scene. Second, I don't like the whole "Murphy Group" thing. It turns E into just another suit and one less member of the entourage

Even if he can act crazy, my man Billy Walsh would have NEVER let a bad make-up ruin his Medellin film, just like the Fat Vince mask that looks too much like the Andy Kaufman bar singer. And it is true that his interrogation of the crew is sit-com material. Even if we are here for a laugh, this show was high-quality because it avoided this out of character mistakes.

Many of you are morons. I especially enjoyed the guy who came on to say the show sucks because (for one,) Turtle is a mooch. Oh man, Dom was a real jerk, too! I don't care for the way Ari treats his wife.

Guest, I don't respect your opinions you fatty ("How did he know?") but please, feel free to keep shitting them around the internet.

Incredibly overrated. Lousy acting, annoying characters, and not funny. At least Jeremy Piven gives struggling actors some hope -- you CAN win an Emmy for getting hairplugs.

Jumped Day One ...The casting meetings ended up with the following result: "Okay, let's go after the Gen Y demographic with some guys that look like they act like guys but really are true or failed metrosexuals. And of course as LA is lame and full of phonies on its own account, we here in HBO in New York need to have some of these dudes from New York still with the accents." Ari was the only sound casting and credible actor for his role. The show is total BS and a disgrace from the folks who brought us the Sopranos and much more compelling realistic programming over the years; this terd still floats.

Kakashi is an idiot... the show is garbage -- was good but total sell out... too much hugging and high fiving and just being retarded... Drama was great he's waaayy tooo stupid now and why does all 4 of them need to have a role in every episode. Turtle with his ridiculous sneakers.... He's sucha fat mooch!!!! Eric is the only compelling charater on the show and he's such a P**** he's hard to watch... Sloan you were hot!!!

Entourage hasn't JTS yet. It came close last season with the "Making of Medellin" episode when Billy gets hung up on that Brazilian chick. But its still the best show on television.

Plus, everyone's talking about how bad Adrian Grenier is as an actor. IMO, the worst actor is Kevin Connelly. Whenever he gets angry its always the same "F U Billy!" attitude. I actually think Grenier is one of the better actors on the show. Jeremy Piven isn't that great either, but he plays a great Ari. So does Kevin Dillon, although I thought he was terrible in the movie 'Posiedon' last year.

The show is running out of steam though. If the producers decide to do another season I'd be surprised if its any good. All of the jokes have worn thin. How many times can you rank on your buddies for not scoring a chick?
